Emory University GOIZUETA Business School Addition & Expansion
Project Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Project Scope: 90,000 gsf, $20 million
Completion Date: 2005
Emory University needed an addition for the existing business school. Sizemore Group was able to quickly ascertain the needs of the Program and provide architectural direction. The Program was verifed with a review and comparison of ‘peer’ institutions.
This project has been awarded LEED Gold Certifcation. Designed under Emory’s core design goal of “enlightened frugality”, sustainable design concepts were only adopted where they offered a sustainable return on investment. This 90,000 gsf expansion includes offce functions inherent to the Business School as well as new classrooms and offces for the Executive Education Program. Sizemore Group is the Architect of Record for this project and KMW is the Associate Architect.

“I had a very good experience with Sizemore Group during the design and construction of the Goizueta Business School. Key attributes of the team were attention to details, quick response and enjoyable people. The staff stayed focused on moving the project forward, were very good team players and listened. They paid attention to what the owner needed and ‘ran with it’.”
