Planner/Urban Designer

Sizemore Group is actively looking for a planner/urban designer to join our team and help us in our mission of creating cultural places and beautiful spaces. Candidates should have a strong graphic background and interest to support our planning team in creating master plans, renderings, presentations, booklets, and flyers. A good design eye and understanding of basic urban design principles is necessary. Candidate shall be a self-starter with an eye for perfection.

Skills: Must lead in knowledge of GIS, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, AutoCAD or REVIT, Sketch-up, and Lumion.

Years of experience: N/A

Added Bonuses: Experience or background in architecture; interest in arts and culture and community placemaking; community engagement experience or interest; and/or writing skills.

Planner/Project Manager

Sizemore Group is looking for a planner/project manager to join our team and help us in our mission of creating cultural places and beautiful spaces.  Candidate should have a minimum of 3 years in the planning field and experience in project management. This position requires hands-on interaction with communities, stakeholders and clients. Candidate must have very strong communication skills: graphic, verbal and written, plus ability to facilitate public meetings. Analytical skills, technical understanding of zoning and land use principles and demonstrated ability to collaborate with peers and lead interns. Specific tasks may include project management, community participation, master planning and design, documentation, and creation of graphics. 

Skills: Must lead in knowledge of GIS, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Years of experience: 3 years minimum

Added Bonuses: Experience or background in architecture; interest in arts and culture and community placemaking; skillsets in AutoCAD or REVIT, Sketch-up, Lumion.
