In 2006, SPSU engaged Sizemore Group to do a comprehensive Master Plan update that integrated the adoption of a new Strategic Plan and created a ten year vision. The proposed solution integrated efforts to develop a new entrance on the north end of campus and property acquired on the west side. The overall direction was to add 800,000 gsf of academic support, 1400 beds and 2500 parking.

Since completion, Sizemore Group has done additional studies for new housing:

  1. Concept for Theme housing on the Southwest.
  2. Concept for Apartment housing on the West.
  3. Concept for Apartment / Mixed-use along the East side.
